ART / TALK

One Work Gallery: Jane Lewis
From Wednesday 3rd December.
Wednesday 10th December, 2.30pm: Conversation about the work with artist Jane Lewis, Free.

We are excited to bring a new programme of artworks and talks by professional artists to The Nose, exhibiting in the ‘One Work Gallery’. Located above the fireplace in The Nose, this single work showcase encourages visitors to sit and contemplate an artwork over the duration of a month.

The artist is invited for an informal discussion to give people the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the work. The artworks are selected by artist Sue Bennett and are installed by technician James Barnard. The artworks are for sale.

Our first artist is Jane Lewis, an abstract painter living and working in Suffolk. She has been painting full-time since 1997, both in oils and watercolour. Her work is informed by the East Anglian landscape.

Jane Lewis’s work will be on display from Wednesday 3rd December, and Jane will be joining us for a conversation about the work on Wednesday 10th December at 2.30pm. All welcome.
